On the thirth day a pitch to a company (Vyncke) and further concept generation was planned. The visit at Vyncke was more like an interview and gave us another inside compared to Bel & Bo. Also the user group over here is slightly different than the one at Bel & Bo. Again a few notes were made towards the product by the people who tested the desk.
- The white colour of the desk is to bright (especially when the sun is shining on it).
- A bigger chair is suitable
- A roller bal or cup holder might be useful as well
- The set - up of the disk needs to go faster
- They want to work while standing or sitting on a chair
- The solar pannel is unnecessary
- The voltage of the battery doesn't need to be this big
- duration of the work outside varies from 45 min to a whole day
We tried to take into account the "critics" and elements that were given during these two pitches and started to make some sketches for our final concepts for the presenation. After a whole day of sketching we eventually got our final ideas ;
The first two concepts are optimalisations, the thirth one is our "out of the box idea" (more to come!).
